Danielle
Danielle is our FS1 teacher and
began her journey in the early years
sector over seven years ago in
Scotland where she trained in a
forest school. Danielle believes it's
a gift to help children explore the
world around them and be a part of
their learning journey. Danielle has
a passion for fitness and loves
yoga, she looks forward to
implementing some children’s
yoga into her FS1 class.
Saffron
Saffron is our FS2 Teacher, bringing
with her over ten years of rich
experience in educational settings
both in the UK and the UAE. By
tailoring her teaching strategies to
meet each child's unique needs
and creating a classroom
environment that promotes
curiosity, creativity, and
confidence, Saffron helps children
develop foundational skills and
attitudes that will benefit them
throughout their educational
journey.
Susie
Susie is our Year 1 teacher this year
and she joins us from Scotland in
the UK. She has been teaching for
23 years and primary for 17 years.
she is excited to be returning with
her husband to teach in the Arab
world. Susie is a creative teacher
who enjoys languages, travel and
sports. She always teaches to the
individual and enjoys inspiring
children to learn with fun topics
and active learning.
Maryam
Maryam is an accomplished
individual who is joins SIS from the
UK. Her background is marked by a
blend of practical experience and
academic achievements, which
she brings to her new role with
enthusiasm and commitment
Her hard-working nature and
passion for teaching drive her
commitment to making children’s
educational experiences both
engaging and enjoyable, while also
creating a nurturing learning
Ella
Ella is our Year 3 Teacher. She joins
us from the UK graduating last year
from Northumbria University with
the Primary Teaching degree with
QTS. Ella’s adaptability, honed by
her international experience, allows
her to connect with children from
various backgrounds and tailor her
teaching strategies to meet their
unique needs.
Ruth
Ruth is our Year 4 Teacher. She
joins us from Ireland where she
graduated this year from The
University of Limerick with a
Masters in Education. Ruth is a
caring person making her well
suited to working with children.
Her positive and cheerful
disposition will engage children
effectively and will ensure she
builds good rapport with her
students
Aqsa
Aqsa is our Year 5 Teacher with
approximately 5-years teaching
experience behind her, ranging
from being a private tutor, a
teaching assistant, and a class
teacher. After spending 7-months
travelling the world with her
husband, Aqsa decided now was
the time to come back to teaching.
She is a dedicated and hardworking individual, with a polite and
friendly demeanour.
Heba
Heba is our Primary Student
Support Teacher. She joins us with
over fourteen years' experience in
the field of special educational
needs. She obtained a bachelor's
degree in special education and
graduated 2008 from Ain Shams
University in Cairo (Egypt). She has
3 years of experience in Egypt with
people of determination and 14
years of experience as a support
teacher in the United Arab
Emirates, and she very much loves
the challenge of achieving
inclusion in school
Madeeha
Madeeha Mukhtar is our
Computing and Art teacher,
specializing in computers and
robotics. With 4 years of teaching
experience in UAE, she brings a
wealth of knowledge and passion
to her students. Known for her
hardworking nature. Madeeha is
adept at integrating technology
with art, providing students with
unique and innovative ways to
learn.
Salma
Salma is our French Teacher joining
from Egypt. She is passionate
about sharing the beauty and
richness of the French language
and culture. Due to her 5 years
teaching experience, she has used
her skills to create engaging and
interactive learning environments.
She incorporates a variety of
teaching methods, including roleplaying, group activities, and
multimedia resources, to make
learning French both effective and
engaging.
Hanan
My name is Hanan, an Islamic
education teacher. I am from
Egypt. I graduated from the
College of Education for Arabic
Language and Islamic Studies in
2013. Then, after graduation, I
traveled directly to the UAE, where I
worked for ten years in Dubai,
where I was very happy to work as a
teacher in Dubai, and I acquired
many skills in classroom
management. And dealing with
students. I had a great pleasure
working at Springfield School,
where we all work as one family
Ahmed
Mr. Ahmed is our Arabic teacher
and began his teaching journey in
Dubai 8 years ago. He has 8 years of
experience of teaching Arabic and
Islamic in a range of schools across
Dubai. Being born and raised in
Dubai, Mr. Ahmed is very proud of
the culture and heritage of the UAE
and he enjoys sharing this with the
school community.
Mr. Ahmed is a kind and gentle
teacher with a passion for teaching
Arabic. We are delighted that he
joined Springfield International
School, Dubai.
Kafaa
Kafaa is our PE teacher. She joins us
with over eight years of experience as
a PE teacher in Very Good and
Outstanding schools in the UAE. She
is passionate about fostering health
and fitness through engaging
activities that build students physical
skill and confidence. She aims to
create a positive environment where
students develop a lifelong love for
physical activity.
